Multiple Catching Event

If multiple catching events are configured, the first one that triggers will activate the event. It is equivalent to joining the flows from each in an Exclusive Gateway. As with the throwing Multiple Event, it hides important information.

Only one event will be triggered. The Event Gateway is included in the BPMN standard to model this behavior explicitly and should be used. It clearly exposes the number and types of events. A common usage is to use a timer event to limit the time period that a process will wait for a message.
